Uniform
At Tarleton Community Primary School we strongly believe that wearing our school uniform provides our pupils with a sense of belonging, looks smart and therefore prepares them to learn .
There is an option of a tartan pinafore, a tartan kilt, or a tartan skirt with an elasticated waist. There is a cardigan with a red trim (pictured above). There will be an option of navy knee length socks or navy tights. Hair accessories will need to be in the school colours of either red or blue.
Another option is a V-neck school jumper with a red trim and the school logo on. Pupils will also need to wear grey trousers with dark socks.
All children will be required to wear smart black shoes and red polo shirts. Year 6 will wear a white shirt and a navy clip on tie. The tie will be paid for by the Friends of TCP and will be presented to the children in an assembly on the first day in September. The purpose is for our Year 6 pupils to stand out as role models and prepare them for High School.
Summer Uniform (optional):
- Red and white checked gingham dress
- Cardigan with a red trim or V-neck school jumper with a red trim (pictured above)
- Navy socks
- Smart black shoes
P.E. and Games Kit:
Children are required to wear their PE Kit on days when they have PE lessons.
The kits are navy shorts and a navy top with the logo and red on the inside of the sleeves.

Second Hand Uniform:
We have a range of high quality second hand uniform available at the School Office. If you would like to donate items of uniform or need further items, please pop in. There is no cost.
Branded Items:
Jumpers, cardigans, skirts, pinafores and PE t-shirts are all branded items exclusive to our school and can be purchased at Whittakers in Southport. We recommend all other items are bought at supermarkets to reduce cost.
